What happens when the result goes live?
At 10:00 AM on 2 September 2026 every Punjab board releases the 9th class (SSC Part-I) annual result at the same time. The first fifteen to twenty minutes are always the slowest — millions of students hit the official portals at once, so pages time out and roll numbers come back blank. That is normal server load, not a problem with your result.

Keep these ready before 10:00 AM
- Your roll number slip. Note the number somewhere safe now — searching for the slip at 10:00 AM is how most students lose the first half hour.
- Your father’s name and date of birth. Some boards ask for these if you check by name instead of roll number.
- A working mobile balance. If the site is jammed, SMS gets through when nothing else does.
- Patience for the first fifteen minutes. A blank screen at 10:02 AM means the server is busy, not that your result is missing. Wait a minute and try again rather than refreshing repeatedly.

What are the passing marks for 9th class in 2026?
You need 33% in each subject to pass. Several websites still quote 40%, which is not correct for the 2026 Punjab board examinations.

Wait a minute or two and try again, or use the SMS method in the meantime. Repeatedly refreshing adds to the load and usually makes it slower for you, not faster.
What if I am not satisfied with my marks?
Every board accepts a rechecking application within a fixed window after the result, usually two to three weeks, against a per-subject fee. Rechecking verifies the totalling and that no answer was left unmarked; it is not a fresh evaluation of your paper.
Will my result stay available after result day?
Yes. Board portals keep the result online, and you can download your DMC or collect it from your school once the boards dispatch them.
