This page is dedicated to Sargodha Board candidates from Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali and Bhakkar. The online checker works with roll numbers, so students searching by name should use the official 2026 gazette instead. If the result page is temporarily unavailable, send your roll number without additional text to 800290 and wait for the board’s SMS response.

For every other Punjab board and their own confirmed dates, the Punjab Boards 9th Class Result 2026 page lists each portal and SMS code together.

BISE Sargodha Result Day Status

BISE Sargodha’s 10th class (SSC Part 2) result already went out on 6 August 2026, position holders were named a day earlier. Nabeel Ahmad Kazmi topped the board with 1,188 marks out of 1,200, ahead of Hadia Fatima and Muhammad who tied for second with 1,186 each. That’s a different exam cycle from the 9th class result this page covers, but it’s a reasonable sign the board is on schedule for 2 September too.

This year’s chairman is also a change from the usual pattern across Punjab boards. Abbas Haider, a director at the Intelligence Bureau, took over as chairperson on 1 July 2026 for an 18 month deputation. Most other Punjab boards got university professors or academics this cycle, Sargodha’s is the one appointment that came from a completely different background.

The Passing Marks Figure

40 percent in each individual subject is the passing requirement for this year’s SSC Part 1 result, Sargodha included. That’s a genuine change from last year’s 33 percent, IBCC raised the threshold under its revised grading formula, effective from the first annual examination 2026 for SSC I.

PercentageGrade
96% to 100%A++ (Extraordinary)
91% to 95%A+ (Exceptional)
86% to 90%A (Outstanding)
81% to 85%B++ (Excellent)
76% to 80%B+ (Very Good)
71% to 75%B (Good)
61% to 70%C+ (Fairly Good)
51% to 60%C (Above Average)
40% to 50%D (Emerging)
Below 40%U (Ungraded)

Science subjects keep theory and practical marks separate, and both need to individually clear 40 percent.

What the 2025 Numbers Actually Showed

112,492 students appeared under BISE Sargodha in 2025, 52,166 passed, an overall pass rate of 46.37 percent.

CategoryAppearedPassedPass Rate
Science group92,81643,77847.17%
Humanities group19,5918,30442.39%
Government institutes69,91829,18541.74%
Private institutes23,52215,69366.72%
Boys60,01022,53237.55%
Girls52,48229,63456.47%

The private institute number is the one worth sitting with, 66.72 percent against 41.74 percent for government institutes, a 25 point gap. Girls also outpaced boys by close to 19 points. If either category matches your situation, treat it as a rough benchmark rather than a promise, individual results always vary.

Checking Your Result

Roll number search on bisesargodha.edu.pk is still the most direct route to your subject wise marks, and it takes about a minute if the site isn’t overloaded. If your slip is missing, use name search instead and add your father’s name, especially if your name is common.

For SMS, type your roll number and send it to 800290. No internet needed, and it genuinely helps in parts of Bhakkar and Mianwali where signal drops depending on the weather, let alone how many other students are hitting the same website at once. Sargodha board’s private candidate numbers are unusually high, which is why schools handling multiple private students almost always go straight for the gazette download page for every Punjab board instead of checking one roll number at a time.

Position Holders

The board’s top position holders for 9th class are usually announced a day or so before the main result, last year’s landed on 20 August, a Wednesday. For verified 2026 names and marks once released, see the dedicated BISE Sargodha position holders page.

Rechecking and What Happens Next

If your marks look off, particularly in a subject you were confident about, rechecking is worth filing. Apply through bisesargodha.edu.pk after the result goes live, pick the subject, pay the fee, and get it in before the board’s deadline. It checks for totaling mistakes and unmarked pages, not a full re read of your paper, so marks can move up, down, or stay the same.

If you passed comfortably, start building 10th class habits now while the material is fresh. If a subject or two gave you trouble, especially anything in the science group given how wide that pass rate gap can get, that’s where supplementary prep should start, not two weeks before the exam.
