Search results sometimes surface DG Khan Board result portals from 2022 or 2025. This page is specifically prepared for the 2026 First Annual Examination, so students do not end up checking an archived session. If the online system is delayed, send only your roll number to 800295 to request the result by SMS.

Current BISE DG Khan Updates for Result Day

BISE DG Khan has a new chairman this year, Prof Dr Abdul Rauf, appointed on 1 July 2026 as part of the province wide reshuffle that filled all nine Punjab BISE chairman posts after a two year vacancy. The board also just wrapped up its 10th class (SSC Part 2) result cycle, position holders were announced on 5 August 2026, and district wise performance in that cycle told an interesting story on its own, Muzaffargarh finished first, followed by Kot Addu, Layyah, Taunsa, Dera Ghazi Khan itself, and Rajanpur last. That is the 10th class result, not the 9th class one this page covers, but it is a useful signal that the board is running on schedule this cycle.

Six Districts, Not Four

Most result pages still list BISE DG Khan’s jurisdiction as four districts. That was accurate until December 2024, when Kot Addu was carved out of Muzaffargarh and Taunsa was elevated from a tehsil of Dera Ghazi Khan, both promoted to full district status. The board’s exam jurisdiction absorbed both without any change to how students register or sit papers, so if you studied in Kot Addu or Taunsa, you are still under BISE DG Khan, just now counted as your own district rather than a sub division of your neighbour’s.

Quick Facts

A note on the SMS code specifically. At least three different codes circulate for this board across other sites, one of them clearly wrong. 800295 is the figure confirmed across independent 2025 announcements, so that is the one to use.

The Passing Marks Figure

40 percent in each individual subject is the passing requirement for this year’s SSC Part 1 result, DG Khan included. This is a genuine change from last year’s 33 percent threshold, IBCC raised it under its revised grading formula, effective from the first annual examination 2026 for SSC I. Science subjects still mark theory and practical separately, and both portions need to individually clear 40 percent on their own.

Percentage Grade 96% to 100% A++ (Extraordinary) 91% to 95% A+ (Exceptional) 86% to 90% A (Outstanding) 81% to 85% B++ (Excellent) 76% to 80% B+ (Very Good) 71% to 75% B (Good) 61% to 70% C+ (Fairly Good) 51% to 60% C (Above Average) 40% to 50% D (Emerging) Below 40% U (Ungraded)

Checking Your Result

Roll number search on bisedgkhan.edu.pk is the fastest way to see your subject wise marks the moment the result goes live. If your slip is lost, name search works too, add your father’s name alongside yours, since DG Khan, Muzaffargarh, Layyah, and Rajanpur share a lot of common family names, and a name only search can easily surface the wrong student’s record.

SMS matters more for this board than most. Send your roll number to 800295, and the reply arrives within seconds without needing internet, which counts for a lot given parts of Rajanpur and Taunsa have patchy mobile data even on an ordinary day, let alone one with heavy result day traffic. The full gazette, listing every candidate district wise and school wise, typically goes up on the gazette download page for every Punjab board about an hour after the announcement.

Position Holders Come Separately

DG Khan typically names its position holders about a day before the general result, so expect that list around 1 September 2026, well ahead of the pattern BISE Lahore and BISE Gujranwala follow too. The full breakdown, once released, will sit on the dedicated BISE DG Khan position holders page rather than this one.

If Your Marks Look Wrong

Rechecking exists for genuine tabulation errors, an unmarked answer, a wrong total, or a mark that did not transfer correctly from your paper to the system. It is not a full re evaluation of your answers. Apply through bisedgkhan.edu.pk after the result, pay the per subject fee, and stick to the board’s stated deadline, since marks can move up, down, or stay the same depending on what the recheck actually finds.

Before Result Day

Save 800295 in your phone if you are in a low signal part of Rajanpur or Taunsa, keep your roll number slip close either way, and use the rechecking window if your marks and your expectation genuinely do not line up. I’m Dayan Imran, 7th semester BS Computer Science student. I’ve now covered nine Punjab boards, and DG Khan’s 2025 data turned up something worth flagging on its own: girls outperformed boys by close to 14 percentage points.
